About Us
The Cincinnati Horticultural Society (CHS) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization established in 1989 to produce horticultural exhibitions that are a benchmark for excellence.
From 1989 to 2017 CHS produced The Cincinnati Flower Show, “the King of All Flower Shows” per Better Homes & Gardens magazine. The show was attended by thousands every year. Our popular and acclaimed events throughout the year educated and inspired guests while showcasing the talents of the area’s landscapers, garden designers and floral designers. These events provided funding for the Flower Show and community horticultural programs and projects.
The Gardener Recognition program continues CHS’s mission to improve the quality of life through horticulture. Gardener Recognition encourages and acknowledges gardeners, communities, and businesses whose contributions to horticulture are an inspiration to all.
