Agricultural Education Day
Agricultural Education Day
October 9, 2015
Symmes Township Park
N. Lebanon Road
Symmes Township, OH
Agricultural Education Day, Ag Ed Day as we call it, is one-of-a kind learning experience for children. The goal of Ag Ed Day is to bring the farm to the city. Ag Ed Day introduces children to real farmers and experts through fascinating presentations and hands-on experiences. Ten interactive exhibits are created focusing on grain and vegetable production, animals, wool and fiber, honey and syrup, soil science, recycling, and so much more. And, their favorite part of the day, each child has the opportunity to make and eat their very own apple pie.
Sponsored by the Hamilton County Farm Bureau
